In the Fordist Dottor Panjaitan said, the standard and quality of biodiesel biofuel types are marketed in the country has been governed by Decree No. Director General EBTKE. 723K/10/DJE/2013 compiled by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 7182:2012 on Biodiesel. Standards and Quality has been established by the Director General of Oil and Gas No.. 933K/10/DJM.S/2013 which requires diesel fuel containing FAME marketed in accordance with the percentage of No. ESDM. 25 in 2013.

According to him, the results of the monitoring of the quality of quality biodiesel that has been conducted since 2011 shows that DG EBTKE quality biofuel Biodiesel quality results in accordance with specified standards to be mixed with petroleum diesel to 10%. So it can not be used as an excuse after sales guarantees termination factor in its use.

From the results do Fuels Association of Indonesia and the results of testing several research institutes such as ITB, BPPT, and PPTMGB “Lemigas” use B-10 to B-30 in a diesel engine does not bring a significant detrimental effect on the engine and its components.

While Sumbogo on the same occasion said, the use of biodiesel has various advantages such as, renewable, better engine performance and environmentally friendly. Besides the mandatory implementation of biofuel must be supported by all parties as Indonesian biofuel could reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to support employment and to support the availability and resilience of Indonesia’s energy.
