JAKARTA. The case against the crime of abuse of subsidized fuel from year to year allegedly continued to increase, especially the increasing disparity between the price of non-subsidized fuel by fuel subsidies almost 2-fold. Tubagus added that the trend of cases of misuse of subsidized fuel which occurred in 2005 and 2007 tended to decrease. This happens because the disparity in fuel prices Subsidized and Unsubsidized are not much different. “In 2005 there were 761 cases, in 2006 there were 624 cases and in 2007 there were as many as 534 cases,” he explained.
Compared with the year 2008 to the year 2011 the tendency of increasing abuse of subsidized fuel. This is caused because of high price disparities. “In 2008 there were 574 cases, in 2009 there were 612 cases and in 2010 there were 643 cases. While in the first quarter of 2011 there were 201 cases, “he said.
