BPH Migas Urge The Public to Switch to Non-Subsidized Fuels

km19Jakarta – Regulatory Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas) againappealed to the public that still uses fuel oil (BBM) subsidy for their vehicles soberalaih to non-subsidized fuel. The appeal takes the form of campaign conducted at the pump KM 19, Wednesday (23/7) Bekasi, West Java.

On this occasion BPH Migas give appreciation to the community, especially those who have been using Oil Fuel for their vehicles. Appreciation is given the form of souvenirs, such as T-shirts, hats and stickers.

Gas Director Djoko Siswanto BPH Migas said this campaign is not only done at the pump KM 19. “This is just theinitial stage. The next campaign will also be carried out in several other major cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung,Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya and Bali”, he said.

While the secretary of BPH Migas said Umi Asngadah because of the reduction in fuel subsidy quota of 2 million KLthen there should be a refinement of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 1 of 2013 onControl of Fuel Usage.

“All should be no legal basis. Now recently urged people not to use the fuel subsidy”, he said.
