Controlling Solar Subsidy Will Not Interfere With Goods and Services Transport Operation

budyaJakarta – Regulatory Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas) has instructed Enterprises implementing the provision and distribution of Fuel TypeSpecific (P3JBT) to limit the hours of operation of the service solar subsidy8:00 to 18:00 pm in the area of Sumatra, Borneo, Java and Bali.

The aim is that the fuel subsidy quota previously set at 48 million kiloliters (KL)which was lowered to 46 million KL in the 2014 revised budget to be sufficientuntil the end of December 2014.

Marketing and Commercial Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Hanung Budya mengungapkan of a number of gas stations are instructed to restrict the operating hours of the sale of solar subsidies in accordance with BPH Migascircular No. 937/KaBPH/214, only 12% of the total 4570 gas stations in the area .

“Total gas stations in the region (Java, Bali, Sumatra, Borneo) there are approximately 4570 hours of operationrestrictions Conducted solar subsidy service areas outside the main supply lines it is only applied in 12% of the total existing retail outlets in the region”, Hanung said.

“So it will not be too intrusive operation of transporting goods and services because there are still 95% of gas stations that sell other normal”, he said.

Related to enforce the cessation of Premium gasoline type fuel distribution across the highway, he asserted therewere 28 gas stations throughout the toll road in Indonesia. “A total of 26 stations in region III and region 2 inSurabaya”, said Hanung.
