DPR Asks the Government to Consider Back Fuel Price Increase

raker1Jakarta – Commission VII of the House of Representatives asked the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources to reconsider the government’s policy to raise the price of fuel oil (BBM).

“The meeting was held in order to want to get information and clarity on the fuel prices. The government has set up the past few days changes in fuel prices for most of us it is very surprising because it does not know and is not given information,” said Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission VII, Kardaya Warnika .

The agenda is in order to get information and clarity from the government over rising fuel prices. As we know, on March 28, 2015 at 00:00 pm back government raised fuel prices by USD 500, – per liter for Premium Gasoline and Diesel Fuel. Premium gasoline from Rp 6,400 to Rp 6,900 per liter. While the diesel oil from Rp 6,800, – to Rp 7,300.

In the meeting the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, accompanied by Secretary General Sudirman Said True EMR Pamudji, Plt. Director General of Oil and Gas I Gusti Nyoman Wiratmadja, EBTKE Rida Mulyana, Head of BPH Migas Andy Noorsaman Sommeng and Marketing and Commercial Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Ahmad Bambang.

That was one conclusion of a meeting between the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources with Commission VII of the House of Representatives on Monday (03/30/2015), which began at 16:15 pm, in the conference room the House of Representatives Commission VII, Senayan, Jakarta.
