Jakarta – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said, inaugurated the operation of natural gas distribution networks (jargas) to households in South Jambi, Jambi Province. The inauguration was attended by the Governor of Jambi Hasan Basri Agus, Acting Director General of Oil and Gas IGN Wiratmaja, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Dwi Sutjipto and other relevant officials.
This inauguration is one way to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in energy diversification, reduction of subsidies, the provision of clean energy cheaper as well as the provision of natural gas infrastructure for households.
Jargas development has been carried out since 2009 and until now has been awakened SR 89 460, with the details: Aceh (1 city) of SR 3997, South Sumatra (3 cities) 11 686 SR, Jambi (1 city) SR 4000, Jakarta Flat-Bogor- Tangerang many as 5254 SR, East Java (2 cities) 13,250 SR, Central Java (2 cities) 8000 SR, West Java (6 cities) 24 577 SR, East Kalimantan (1 city) SR 3960, North Borneo (two cities) 6666 SR, South Sulawesi (1 city) 4172 SR and West Papua (1 city) 3. 898 SR.
