Jakarta – Regulatory Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas) held public hearings tariff pipelines transporting natural gas through the pipeline segment Simpang Abadi – PT LPPI and PLTMG Purwodadi, Tuesday (07/14/2015) in Jakarta.
According to the Director of Gas Umi Asngadah, BPH Migas has conducted discussions and calculations related freight rates for natural gas pipelines segment USM Simpang Abadi – PT LPPPI and PLTMG Purwodadi of USD 0.730 / mscf.
“Previously Head of BPH Migas by decree No. 21 of 2015 set the initial rate of $ 0.455 / mscf. Furthermore, from the evaluation of the rate calculation by BPH Migas is USD 0.730 / mscf,” said Umi.
Responding to the tariff calculation, Doddy Rizki representative of PT PLN as gas receiving no objection to the tariff for the transportation of natural gas.
“Actually, last year we’ve discussed together with PDPDE Gas for tariff or toll fee to Purwodadi and the results are a little higher. Our statement, we agree with the rate to be set by BPH Migas,” he said.
While representatives of the Commission accept the calculation method of the determination of the transport of natural gas through pipelines in use today throughout not cause unfair competition.
Furthermore, tariffs will be tabled in the Assembly Committee on the first Sunday in August 2015.
