Jakarta – Operation Trans Pacific Petrochemical refinery INDOTAMA (TPPI) will save foreign exchange of US $ 2.2 billion a year from reduced fuel imports and LPG.
President Director of PT. Pertamina (Persero) Dwi Sutjipto said TPPI can produce about 61,000 barrels per day Premium, HOMC 10,000 barrels per day and 11,500 barrels per day Solar. Meanwhile, said Dwi, TPPI also produce LPG up to 480 metric tons per day.
“Total foreign exchange savings of fuel and LPG from TPPI reached about US $ 2.2 billion. TPPI refineries can process about 100 thousand barrels per day of condensate or naphtha. From the processing of raw materials with mogas mode will obtain some oil products, such as LPG, Diesel, Fuel Oil, Premium, and HOMC. When operated with aromatic mode, TPPI can produce petrochemicals such as paraxylene, orthoxylene, Benzene and Toluene required by the national industry.
