Jakarta – By the turn of 2015, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources(MEMR) Sudirman Said announced policy penuranan price of fuel oil (BBM)type of Premium gasoline and diesel oil.
Premium gasoline price Rp. 8,500 to Rp. 7,600 per liter. As for the diesel oilfrom a price of Rp. 7,500 to Rp. 7,250 per liter. As for the price of keroseneremains Rp. 2,500 per liter.
When the announcement of the new price reduction policy, Sudirman argued that with this new provision, then there are three types of fuel. What are the three types of fuel?
First, Specific fuel. The fuel consists of diesel oil and kerosene. Kerosene prices unchanged. The price is fixed Rp.2,500 per liter is included Pertamahan Value Tax (VAT).
As for the diesel oil pricing method is made formula consisting of a base price plus VAT plus the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) then reduced subsidy of Rp. 1,000 rupiah.
“This is called a fixed subsidy policy. So if the economic price of diesel goes up or down, the price of diesel subsidywill also fluctuate. This is a good policy because the public will be invited to familiarize themselves with the dynamics of the economic price”, said Sudirman Said, at the office Ministry of Economic Affairs, on Wednesday (12/31/2014).
Both are dedicated BBM assignment. BBM group assignment is determined by the formula base price plus VAT plusPBBKB premises then added distribution costs which will be given to entities that carry out the distribution of 2%.
The latter is a common fuel. For this fuel price formula set by the government, which is the base price plus VATplus PBBKB then added margin BU, because this is the economical price then submitted to BU but using theguidelines given by government formula.
“How to give pedomanya is no lower limit and an upper limit. We do not want competition between enterpriseswas later unhealthy because it is given a margin of at least 5% and a maximum margin of 10%. Although the priceis released at economic prices but the market does not mean that the free market determine own price”, he said.
